Exploring History has been running lectures, study days, after-dinner talks and Zoom lectures for over 30 years. The aim is to bring history alive: to be interesting, enjoyable and thought-provoking.
I was born on the Isles of Scilly, educated at Truro School in Cornwall and Birmingham University, graduating with an MA in English medieval history and literature.
I have spent my career, at home and abroad, in teaching, lecturing and training – both in Further and Higher education.
I am now an accredited lecturer with The Arts Society as well a working as a free-lance lecturer.
